The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a story-driven next-generation open world role-playing game, set in a graphically stunning fantasy universe, full of meaningful choices and impactful consequences. The world burns as the Empire of Nilfgaard pierces through the heart of the kingdoms in the north. Geralt of Rivia is pursued by an enemy devoid of mercy--the Wild Hunt, a mythical cavalcade of ghastly riders, harbingers of doom and destruction, capable of destroying entire settlements overnight. Driven by a deeply personal agenda, Geralt must navigate a maze of hostile forces to find and protect the one described in an ancient prophecy.

Upcoming Expansions

Hearts of Stone will take Geralt on an all-new 10-hour adventure into the wilds of No Man's Land and the nooks and alleys of Oxenfurt, where he'll try to complete a contract from the mysterious Man of Glass.

Caught in a thick tangle of deceit, Geralt will need all his cunning and strength to solve the mystery and emerge unscathed.

Blood and Wine, a 20-hour tale that will introduce the all-new in-game region of Toussaint, will take Geralt to a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret.

Hearts of Stone will premiere in October, while Blood and Wine is slated for release in the first quarter of 2016.
Both expansions will be available on all three platforms: Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4.

Gwent

Gwent is a collectible card game you can play in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It puts you in a role of a general battling an enemy army with your own customized deck of cards.

These cards can be obtained throughout the game world: bought at shops, acquired from NPCs after winning gwent matches, or won in high-stakes tournament in Novigrad.

Each player must have a full deck for at least one faction to participate in a game of Gwent. This includes a minimum of 22 unit cards and a maximum of 10 special cards.

These unit cards can be made up of faction-specific units or Neutral cards, and if a player has more than 22 cards, they may choose to omit them from their deck in favor of drawing a better hand.

I noticed more animations I have not noticed before. When I was traveling to Novigrad the place where all of the trees with white flowers the NPC's who pick the apples you can see a apple appear in their hands and get put into baskets.

I am at 216 hours of play time for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and still have not gone to Skellige Islands I have like 3 quests to go there I still have not completed the main quests and I can't believe I am still not getting bored of playing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at all.

As I decide to do more of the main quests I just do not know who I will choose Triss Merigold or Yennefer the choices are just completely insane. I liked a lot the few quests I did so far where you control Ciri.

All of the question marks near Novigrad have been discovered and I have about 10 left around the Velen area. Side quests keep on popping up out of no where. I went past a farm house and witch hunters barged right inside of the house trying to arrest a mage for being a mage. I had 2 options help the witch hunter guard NPC's turn the mage in or kill the witch hunter guard NPC's and help the mage and his family escape. I chose to kill the witch hunter guard NPC's. Side quests just constantly keep on popping up all over the place for me. They are a lot of fun to do.

@xetirox, thanks for the insight on the griffin in the last thread. Noticed the different symbol as compared to the actual griffin as well. Figured stylization is in play there. A combo of two schools would be intriguing, but I don't think there is any precedent for that yet.

As for the School of Cat. If you haven't done so already, the Beast of Honorton will lead to some interesting insights. Just remember the witcher's codex and you'll learn more.

Oh man...I have so many question marks left even after thorough exploration. But I avoid the notice boards and just explore on my own and then get them after I feel like I explored an area more thoroughly.
