Well, ive done some reading on the forums here and it seems a lot of people are having problems with saves and what not. Didnt read many posts, but the glitch im having is i went to Hidden Vally with ED-E and Veronica with me, I saved right outside of the entrance to the vally, was still technically at that location though which is what i think messed up my save. Anyway walked around and went the bunker entrance at the NW side of the compound and went inside. Game auto saved and i walked down, well Veronica ran up and talked to the intercom. I decided i was going to leave her outside so i went to load my auto save. Poped up and said the DLC is not longer avaible and that some items may not be avaible. I hit yes load then it says the storage device is not there anymore and takes me back to the main menu. I then tried to load my save just outside the gate of the vally. Gave me the same error. Well i then decided to try another save, about 10 hours back and it loaded. Well i dont want to use that save. I dont want to waste 10 hours of crap ive done, completed and aquired. We need a fix for this issue now. Obsidian, i was your fan since Fallout 1 and and 2, when a lot of you were at BlackIsle Studios. You had issues with Fallout 2 and Saves as well. Patch it and your pre patch saves didnt work. What is the deal? Get this issue with Vegas fixed ASAP, Fallout is out of the tray untill i can load up my most recent save. Very disappointed but hope to be back playing it soon but we will see.

****Update****

Well, i even tried a little trouble shooting here. Moved my save to my Mem card and tried to load it from there but didnt work. Turned off the XBOX and reseeded the HDD and that didnt work either. Which makes me feel better knowing its not my HDD but still cant play the game. I also deleted the game off my HDD and tried to load it since the game was no longer running off the HDD. That also did not work. So next thing i tried was i moved the DLC to the memory card and my saves back to the HDD. Tried loading again and still not luck, so i then removed the Mem card from the xbox and tried to load my save, gave me a pop up saying the save relied on DLC content that was not longer there load anyway. so i hit yes, it starts to load and now the Xbox has locked up, i just hope i didnt corrupt the save but i kinda figure its gone anyway, doubt they will be able to release a patch that fixes it and will allow me to load it up. So now i know the XBOX will lock up if i say load with no DLC present at all. Next i will try to delete the DLC and download it again to see if that helps. But i aint holdin my breath.

my brother is having this problem with his xbox. tried clearing system cache and redownloading the dlc and no change.. still cant use his saves..

I keep ranting, but just for the record I am having game freeze/crash regardless of saves loads. As soon as battle initiates I freeze, lock, crash and have to manually power down.

I didnt think i would have this problem but just now, 25 hours in, level 20, it did it. I got killed and tried to load my last saved game and it said exactly this. I tried everything you guys did too, and nothing. Well im not too mad but i hope they fix this soon cuz i cant PLAY cuz of it.I just hope i dont have to start over. I SWEAR if they release the patch and i cant load my saved files still, im never playing new vegas again. :'(

i was having random game crashes too but my brothers wont even load saves cuz they all have the dlc in it.. he either has to start over (without the dlc) or hope they patch it soon.. he leaves for basic training soon.. he was hoping to beat it before he left and he was getting close to the end on hardcoe and it just doesnt load anymore
