Only -40% for the separate DLC prices? No, thank you.
I want cheaper. Considerably cheaper.
It's already dirt cheap, do you want it for free?
Cheaper than £2.08?
I got the Legendary Edition DVD from Amazon.co.uk on release for about £20, which was significantly cheaper than all three DLC sold as separates, let alone the Vanilla Skyrim +3 DLC, and it included all the official patches.
I already had the original Skyrim vanilla DVD on release for about £20 as well, but the Legendary Edition was a far better deal than three separate DLC and still is.
All three separate DLC alone are still costing more on Steam than the Legendary Edition:
Steam Prices:Legendary £9.99Skyrim vanilla £3.39Dragonborn £8.39Hearthfire £2.08Dawnguard £8.39 £22.25
The absolute cost is small, yes, but it's 20% the cost of legendary Skyrim, which makes it terrible value. I for one think that value, rather than cost, drives purchasing, and I hate how abnormally high DLC pricing is. You get a relatively tiny amount of content for a hugely inflated price.
Exactly. It's important to put things in a proper perspective.
