Seattle would be awesome especially if they did something with Mt. Rainer erupting due to China or some other faction. Having a Nuclear Lava Wasteland feel to it would be amazing IMO.

I never blew up Megaton 'for keeps'. The only time I ever did it was by reloading a save and setting it off just to see the explosion. Personally, I never really saw the point even for an evil character who really really wanted a penthouse apartment.

I would welcome a new Fallout game from Obsidian. Though they need to get a fair amount of development time and a decent budget. I personally enjoy FO3 more than FONV, but i think overall that New Vegas is a better game in terms of writing and gameplay. I just don't enjoy Obsidian's storytelling style that much. Kotor II is the exception.

I think Obsidian does a great job at with writing and quest design, and they have a much better understanding of Fallout than Bethesda does, so I wouldn't mind seeing them make another game.

At the same time though, I think I'd rather see them continue to create and work on their own franchises. Pillars of Eternity was a great start at establishing their own IPs, and I'd like to see them make their own sci-fi RPG now instead of yet another Fallout game.

Obsidian's storytelling is usually fine, but I noticed that the more involved J.E. Sawyer is the drier it becomes. New Vegas and Pillars of Eternity were excellent in most respects, including the actual stories, but the storytelling felt more like someone trying to narrate a history textbook. J.E. Sawyer happened to be the Director/Lead Designer on both of these. On the other hand when J.E. Sawyer isn't involved we get Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer, the best Fantasy RPG story told in the last decade.

Same with Kotor 2. Chris Avellone was lead designer and writer for that game and it shows. Also agreed on Neverwinter Nights 2.

I would love more Obsidian Fallout games. If the alternate between numbered title BGS games on the Eastern U.S. and "spin-off" Obsidian games in the West, that would be awesome.

Would you like to discuss about which studio is making the spin-offs? :P
