I have played Skyrim for hours now and never had problems. Now when i try to enter Windhelm for the Seasonal Unending Quest through the gates or fast travel to it loads for 3 seconds and then the game crashes.

I have the legendary Edition and no mods installed. I already tried the Unoffical Patch and SKSE, but with no results. I also tried reinstalling the game twice and cell resting but it still crashes. I tried loading a much much

older save file and tried to enter Windhelm and it worked. All newer save files crash the game when i enter Windhelm. I've looked for days now and i can not fix this problem. I'm starting to lose hope. What can i do?

This is a really awesome game and i would be sad if i could never finish it.

The unofficial Patches for the most part is best installed and running on a new game save. As far as I know it might not be able to fix issues that has already happened.

If the older game save worked than continue to use that game save and create new ones on a regular basis. Bethesda Games it is important to create a new game save on a regular basis and back those game saves. Keep the Unofficial Patches on the game save that is working and hopefully you will not get anymore major bugs or crashing.

Aww man. That save file is really old. It looks like i have nothing left but start from that save. Thanks anyway.
