I've been listening to a cover album recently where instead of trying to do the full blown cover, two fans have instead only did a cover of the Instrumentals, thus not doing vocals at all. The result was incredable. Not only where the covers on point, they worked really hard to re-create every little sound you would hear. Going back to the original songs, I have a deeper appreciation for them, knowing what all the parts sound like and the little sounds that get lost in the background.

Anyone else listen to full instrumental covers or have a similar experience?
