Fliping animationsskeletons axis

Post » Tue Aug 04, 2015 5:03 am

Hey,

So i am working on a personal comapion mod that is a custom made creature with new animations. All went smooth untill i realised its facing in a bad direction (morrowind creatures/actors face backwards). All my attempts ended in eighter breaking the animation or creature still facing in the wrong direction.
I am looking for a solution for eighter nifskope or 3ds max,

This may sound trivial, but did you try rotating various nodes in Nifskope by 180 degrees?

Yeah, I even tried to break a guar to face backwards but no matter rotation it always was faced properly

How about importing the creature to blender and rotating the skeleton? Eh, I'm sure you've already tried anything I can think of. Unfortunately I'm not an animator, so hopefully someone else with more experience can drop in to help! Maybe Moranar would have some ideas since they mess with skeletons so often.

I'm not very familiar with NifSkope or Max, but if you upload the file I can maybe fix it with Blender. :D
