I recently have decided I either want to buy Fallout 3 or ESO, I have never legitemitly played a fallout game (I played new vegas for about 2 hours on xbox but that wasn't verry fun for me because I am used to mouse and keyboard). So many people have tod me "if you love the elder scrolls games you'd love fallout as well" I've seen gameplay of Fallout 3 a it looks fun but I am also a huge Elder Scrolls and ESO also has my interests. I want to have some opinions to go off of before I buy one of them, What would be better (including mods).

I couldn't find some general discussion forum so I'm just posting this to both the TES and Fallout forums.

This is a tough one as both are very different experiences. One is multiplayer and the other isn't. That's all I can really say I guess.

I've played both and enjoyed both. Personally I'd say get FONV for the pc, its the best game of the 3 overall IMO, but if playing it on console soured it for you maybe not.

FO3 is a good dungeoncrawler, lousy story. TESO has decent quests and stories, better than other MMOs I've played and as good as those in Oblivion and Skyrim (although MW had a much better MQ than any of them), but it is an MMO and people can be annoying. You also can't explore in the same way as in Bethesda SP games.
