Well I think he did.

I left Boone, Veronica, and ED-E in the Presidential Suite of the Lucky 38. Not waiting, but "we'll meet up in the Lucky 38".

As I'm going around the various casinos on the Strip, out of nowhere I get the message: "Quest Failed - I Forgot to Remember to Forget"

Hmmm, that's strange. The next time I returned to the Lucky 38, Boone is dead and ED-E has lost about half his hit points.

I guess they got into a fight over Veronica...or maybe Boone picked up a beer, that's supposed to cause fights sometimes.

So I put Boone's body on one of the beds in the guest bedroom, and went off to visit the Boomers.

When I got back from Nellis, Boone's body is now on the floor...
