Is it possible in SKSE to clear or set to a new name an Object Reference's Display Name that's been locked by an unchecked Clears Name When Removed?

Currently, once the Display Name of an Object Reference is changed by an Alias with an unchecked Clears Name When Removed, it becomes unchangeable. The CK Wiki does state this: http://www.creationkit.com/Quest_Alias_Tab

I've already asked in the Creation Kit forum and tried a couple of things. It's not possible to change in the CK (e.g. adding the Obj Ref to another Alias) nor in Papyrus.
