Help with FO: NV ending

Post » Wed Aug 12, 2015 12:57 pm

So as you can tell by my Brink profile picture, I don't come on the forums here often as I'm too lazy to change it lol. However, I would very much appreciate any help any of you could provide. I came back to New Vegas to finally complete the game... I'm not nearly as big of a Fallout fan as I'm sure many here are.. I've only made two characters and both are lv 20+, however I've always had trouble beating the game for some reason. The first time I was completely irrational and often just shot most people I came in contact with; so, I decided to start a new character.. I decided to side with the NCR just because I heard it offered the most missions. So I killed Yes Man and I became an enemy of Caesars Legion. I know it gives you multiple quests once you arrive at the strip so you can choose which faction to side with, but I no longer have any faction related quests... I just finished the mission where you restore power for the strip and camp mccarran but when I visit Camp Mccarran or the Boulevard Station I can't find any signs of a character to talk to in order to do more missions with the NCR and side with them for the Hoover Dam fight... I haven't played on this character build in years and I don't remember ever shooting any important NCR people on this build. Any help of what I should do next is greatly appreciated.

You start off doing Act 2 MQ stuff for the NCR by answering the summons by the NCR Ambassador guy. Then after you're done doing his stuff, you get shipped off to Queen Bi....er, Colonel Moore to do stuff.

But before that, you have to finish Act 1 to the point where you at least get the NCR embassy summons (as well as a Caesar summons, which you don't have to answer if you're going NCR).

There are a variety of side missions that can be done to further the cause of the NCR as well, as you seem to have already discovered.

Pretty much what Madcat said. After you leave the Lucky 38 a NCR guy will talk to you saying visit their Ambassador. After that your on your way to the NCR quest line.

Also, you cant really kill Yes Man. So, you still have the option to work for him, NCR and House.

The only path I think lacking in quests is the Legion. The other three you can do all the NCR side quests because Independent/House Vegas relies on the NCR and you fight on their side (at least in the beginning) during Hoover Dam. Also with Independent you can play the sides against each other and do both Legion and NCR quests up to a point.
