City Size and Dialogue Ratio

So, as the polls (that hopefully worked) ask, what is your major city size preference? Furthermore, after considering your ideal city size and population density, what is your dialogue preferences for the NPCs that will be making up these major settlements?

This is just to see where the popular opinion on these forums lies in regards to these two heavily inter-related concepts.

Personally, I'd prefer something a bit bigger than what we have now, perhaps substantially bigger than what we have now, but I still would like to maintain a substantial amount of dialogue. I've never been very big on filler content, especially not when it comes to NPCs in videogames.

I also decided to add another option to the poll, to assess preferences for city interactivity. I've seen a few people make comments about how they wouldn't mind filler streets, buildings, etc.

Ultimately, we can't have the best of everything, so increased city size would likely come at the cost of dialogue options or building interactivity once it got past a certain extent. The same is true in regards to dialogue options and how eventually one would have to reduce cities or some level of interactivity with the environment in order to supplement the development.

So, tell me; what are your preferences in these regards? Where does the appropriate balance lie for you?

Not really a issue that you can pick or choose from. While I would like to have city life actually be a thing with towns large enough to cater to that desire, I do not want hundreds of NPC's that really serve no purpose beyond acting as clutter, or for the more violent characters fodder for leveling skills.
