What do you guys/gals think of this announcement and what do you want from it?

I personally hope they keep the camera angles from the original and have added a poll so that I can see where people stand on that issue.

I actually only played a few levels of the original so it won't much matter to me. Only really liked one Resident Evil game and that was 4. Although I don't have much experience with the previous ones and the latter ones svcked imo.

never was much of a Resident Evil fan personally.. just not my cup of tea.. however, i know the franchise has a loyal following, so i hope they enjoy it

I would warn all old-school Resident Evil fans, and everyone else who asked for this, to be very careful for what you wish for. Capcom is one of several big Japanese companies who's been pulling a lot of stupid BS in recent years. Just because they're grasping at old glories now doesn't mean they won't [censored] it up.
