Run for your lives!

For those of you who have played Skyrim on the PC, you may recognize the name of this topic as the name of a mod released by Arthmoor that deals with the problem of non-respawning squishy lemming NPCs having at dragons. It, and its counterpart for vampire attacks in cities for Dawnguard, were made to solve the infuriating problem of random spawning hostiles created by the Radiant system killing everyone in towns as they charged at the foe that grossly outclasses them.

Will we have a similar problem in FO4? Will the Radiant system plop a deathclaw in the middle of a settlement, prompting all the residents to pull out their tire irons and pipe guns to kill it?

I hope so, but that a. depends on Arthmoor modding for Fallout 4 and being willing to recreate his mod, and b. assumes that Bethesda won't address the dead-bystander issue as standard (in which case expect to see calls for a mod to make it so that anyone can die at any time!).

I don't think that will be a big problem in Fallout 4. Definitely not with Deathclaws.

The problem occurs when bad guys show up to attack settlements, mostly. And that probably only happens to our own settlements, which we can defend.
