YKALON (wip)

Post » Mon Aug 17, 2015 12:38 am

A fiar sized landmass I am making based off of Ykalon form Daggerfall, of course it won't be the same size so please don't ask. Unfortunately all I know how to do is create npc's make creatures and pathgrids and build dungeons and towns. I am posting this in case there is anyone out there interested in making a quest. But if not this will just be a landmass full of dungeons and a few towns. But if you are interested that is wonderful. I just made the landmass the other day and only one town is being worked on and half the land is untextured as of now. This is by no means even half way done.

I think you should set the z-axis of the static objects lower.

Okay I will try that I guess, but I think if they are any farther lower they will be half underground.

Hello,

I think Kalon is correct, you statics looks too high. The heads of the NPC are likely to come up to the door knob.

I've made a few quests here and there, but I am busy with my own project at the moment. Having said that I am a decent scripter and I do have some experience with dialog. If you want I would be willing to help you out advice and guidance on building a quest. At least enough to get you started in the right direction. Check over your work if you want. That kind of thing.

I have found the forums a good place to ask questions and get some help, but feel free to PM me.

Ed

I think you are some kind of modding bot or have to much free time. Anyway, I'm glad to see some new (I assume) lore-friendly mod is in creating process .

Haha, you would be right when I find something I am passionate about It will become my life. I live the Elder Scrolls games, well not all the time though I do watch movies and stuff but other then that I am either thinking, modding, or playing a TES game. But obsessive creativity had it's price. The price is insanity for example I have certain well, problems. NO ONE absolutley NO ONE can touch any of my things or else I have to clean them multiple times before use, and thats just one of the little things I gotta deal with.
