Hi all!

I love Morrowind, The Elder Scrolls 3. Played it back in 2009, but never finished all the sub quests. Decided to start all over again now and thoroughly enjoying it! . I have done a few sub quests to now, but one of them where I got the boots of blinding speed after leaving a character close to the Bitter Coast, these boots have disappeared from my inventory along with magic robes I had purchased at a shop, can't recall where! I've searched my inventory just to make sure I haven't overlooked the items, but they are just not there.

What has happened?

I know the titled reads funny, even laughed at it myself. But can any of you guys help? What's happened?

Also one other thing, the master audio control won't stay at the setting I set it at and the sounds are too loud in my headphones when I leave a house and have to keep bringing the controls up again to sort it.

What's going on there? How can I fix it?

Im on Windows 8 and its GOTY edition I am playing.

Have you been arrested by a guard recently ?

As for the audio settings, maybe move your Morrowind folder to another folder than Program Files(x86), and set the morrowind.ini as Read Only. You'll have to edit the new file path in the Registry editor.
