I never played GT6 but i am thinking of buying it.

Anyways can somone please help me? I have some DLC for this game that i bought like 2 - 3 years ago. Now i want to play it again with the DLC. But for some reason they took off all the DLC for this game. I am just kinda of confused can i still use the DLC? I don't see Gran Turismo 5 in the PSN store. Does anyone know what happen to the DLC?

I was a big fan of the GT series going back to #2, and by far when it comes to racing in my mind is the best overall experience for a racing sim with team ownership. I have sunk countless hours into it, and 5 the most as I went the farthest in it. Though I would always get the S license, and a few supers in each game but in 5 I had a lot of them and nearly 100% the A series.

The major turnoff for me is the focus on the Japanese car lines, especially the Nissan brand. It seemed like 1 out of every 2 cars was japanese, and those were 50% Nissan, and 85% of them were Skylines. I would get pissed off after finishing a circuit only to receive yet another Skyline I would never use and could have bought myself I wanted the full collection.

As for the DLC and other matters with GT5, it was removed last year along with online support and servers shut down earlier this year.

Not even DLC cars?

I only played the first two. I enjoyed the first, not the second.

If you allready have purchased GT5 DLC content, they should be: Sign In -> Account Management ->Transaction Management -> Download List

I own GT5 on my PS3, and allready purchased DLCs working just fine. (at least those purchased before 30 Aptil 2014)

If you don't have purchased any GT5 DLCs yet:

After 30 April 2014, players will be unable to purchase any Gran Turismo 5 DLC, as it will disappear from the PS store forever. !!!

Specifically, Sony says that the following services will come to an end: Online Lobby, Seasonal Events, Museum, News, Community, Remote Race, Log in Bonus, Online Dealership and DLC purchase.

You wanna definitely purchase GT6, as it has much more challenges as the previous GT5 game. !!! (Even Moon exploration challenges...what ??? - YES IT HAS.) lol

Really liked the series, but I always played them on someone else's console.

I think Gran Turismo lacked a lot of competition when it started out. That allowed it to really allowed it to lay the ground work for the racing simulation genre. Fast forward to today, and I find that Gran Turismo is very vanilla compared to games like Forza, Dirt, Grid and Project Cars.

It will always have a special place in my heart, though. Except for those license challenges.

Yeah I like Gran Turismo, but since getting an Xbox I've learnt that Forza is a far superior series.
