So I want to make myself a shield and armor (or have someone make it for money) with words in the dragon language (Dovahzul) running down the sides and other places. And so I want to "translate English into Dragon language in english letters" so that I can use the font to make sentances in the dragon language (in dragon letters). And then use that on the model.

Any nerds (true Dovahkiins) out there, please aid me in my strugles. Help will be greately appreciated.

Also, is there anyway of filtering the page, so that I can see the english words from A-Z? I'll slowly check the whole page for all my words while I wait for your reply. But it's gonna take quite a bit of time, so hopefully there is a filter and you'll reply before I spend 20 days trying to translate a single sentance. xD

So basically like a dictionary, where you can translate both "from Dovahzul to English" and "from English to Dovahzul".

Ctrl+F is your friend in these situations. But there's also thuum.org, a translator which does what you want. I never used it, so I can't vouch for its reliability, but it looks fairly well-made at first glance.

I tried it once, it does a fairly good job at translating from english to Dovahzul, but only in the words on the wiki you gave me link to. So if I tried something dumb, like "[censored]" it won't translate. :3

Of course it won't translate such words. How could it? The language is taken directly from the game and other official resources, so the documented vocabulary is quite limited. The team at thuum.org attempted to create new words stemming from the same root using known grammar rules, but anything other than that is pure imagination which may look and sound plausible, but isn't actual dragon language.

For words which don't exist, I think I'd just transcribe the English word in dragon alphabet. It's not like anybody's going to understand what's on your armor anyway. But how long do you want the text to be? Can't you try to build sentences using only the known words?

I tried searching for it but can't find the answer.

I was sure the dragons called him something else in their own language. However when I went on the wiki, he's refered to as "Dragon God of Time", so I may just translate that. Especially since ancient language scripts never reffer to rulers, gods and such by their actual name, but by their title.
