okay so I recently dived head first into Shadowrun returns and Shadowrun dragonfall (great games that I highly recommend) and eagerly awaiting Shadowrun Hong Kong. Now playing these games I have fell in love with Shadowrun and really thinking about running the table top version for my friends.
Now my question is I know I'm saving up for 5th edition core book, but can anyone recommend any books or websites to learn the lore and important people and events? Any books to recommend to immerse myself in the Shadowrun world?

Best source I can think of is the Catalyst Games website. The forums there are generally populated by people passionate for their chosen game. The staff of the company also frequents them and can answer many questions for you.
