Okay, before someone says something obnoxious like "Oh another RP?", this RP was being formed long before I returned to this part of the forum. Anyway, now to the information.

A group of scavengers searching the rural areas of the Wasteland find an old shelter, which was heavily sealed by dust and sand before struggling to open the door. When they got inside, they found it was filled with guns of all sorts and combat armor, but they found something completely unexpected. A large party of whithering corpses laid on the floor in the food storage.

They found the corpse of a Ghoul who had a bullet wound in his leg, and when they searched his body, they found the Ghoul's diary. The Ghoul wrote about joining a mercenary gang called the Ragtag Reapers in Rivet City, and how they flew in a vertiberd and crashed. They regrouped with the other members in a shack after parachuting down, and encountered Raiders. The Ghoul had been shot in the leg, but held with them until they reached the shelter filled with supplies.

Unfortunately, the heavy sandstorm was so powerful that it clogged up every crack and opening in the building with mud and sand-including the door. They were trapped and no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't get out. They were losing oxygen over the hours, and the Ghoul's last diary entry was about how heavy he had to breathe in just to breathe normally. He left a letter to his brother, Roy Phillips.

Telling by how heavy the air was in the shelter and the final diary entry, they all suffocated in the pressure and died. The scavengers were marveled at the dauntless courage of the mercenaries and the hardships they survived, and decided to take on the name of the Ragtag Reapers in memory of the original members. The three left to Rivet city to recruit new members-just like the original mercenaries.

Before heading out to recruit new members, they were already approached by a man, James Reilbroght, who needed them to complete a job for him. He was living in a small settlement in the rual areas of the southern Wasteland, and the entire settlement was destroyed by a gang. The gang was formed a few months earlier in northern parts of the Wasteland and have been terrorizing and recruiting since. The man said his family was kidnapped along with several other settlers. He needs the mercenary group to find his family and other surviving people and return.
