Melee Vampire?

Anyone strictly melee with a vampire?

So I've made a new character, a Dunmer warrior. I've thought about making a melee vampire. I've noticed people say if you use magic. Go vampire. But I've always thought this useful for melee as well. I notice in Dawnguard that some vampires mix magic with melee or just use melee any way.

I've heard it would go against a warrior build and that you would have sun light penalties. How is a melee warrior bad? The vampire abilities you get from Dawnguard for feeding and up keep basically...take care of everything for a vampire.

Sure, you don't regenerate health, magic or stamina in sun light. But if I chose werewolf, well....my Dunmer will eventually surpass ever needing to take the form as he would do more damage with one handed, blocking, heavy armor and enchanting. So would it be better should I go vampire instead based on the 100 resistances to disease and poison seeing as werewolves have no armor usage and do little damage in Master and Legendary?

Thoughts?

I think lady stone should allow for daylight health and stamina regen. Not sure though.

I've done it countless times. There's nothing wrong with a melee vampire, trust me. I've done a Archer Vampire, had fun with that. So yah, vampire isn't restricted to just mages, it can be anyone. It can even be YOUR HOUSE!
