Respawnable followers

Hi,

I did some light modding in Elder scrolls, but I have something a bit more ambitious than usual and don't really know how to proceed.

Basically, I want a more hardcoe feel, and essential followers isn't (they even happen to heal during long fights so on their own they can handle anything given time). So I came up with the idea to add generic respawnable followers, pretty much the way bandits would work, though here I would hope for instant respawning (not like resurection, but rather respawning in its home location). I'm yet to create a characte but I should be able to manage it.

However, I have no clue how to make them respawnable, and how to set the frequency of respawn. Ideally, I would want them to respawn in my homes, so some in Heartfire home, but then I have no clue how to handle the non static location. If there's a rather easy way to do this, please let me know, otherwise I'll deal with no such characters in Heartfire home (or just wandering around but for immersion it's not the best way to handle it and I expect they would engage anything hosile around).

Offhand, create your NPC, make sure unique and essential are unticked and I believe there's a "respawns" box which should be ticked.

Then the follower should reappear when the cell resets - probably about three days.

Alternatively, give 'em a script with an OnDeath event that calls RegisterForSingleUpdateGameTime and set the event to fire in however long you want. Then you just place a new one at the marker when the event fires.
