Ok..so yesterday a friend claimed to me that they recently heard the news that bethesda was going to start experimenting with allowing certain mods normally used on pc versions of their games to be used in the console version of the same games.
I have long been a supporter for this anyways, periodically posting and begging game developers everywhere to start doing this, only to be given the reply it will never happen due to legal issues between game developers and console developers. I still dont really understand fully as to why this has to be this way because mods work just fine on the pc which has many different brands made by many different companies and it doesnt wreck or destroy the pc in general, and any mishaps can typically be fixced with an uninstall or maybe even a reinstallation of the computers operating system etc...now maybe there is stuff that goes on in this realm of things that i dont know about or understand, but so far i dont understand why it seems to be such a big deal for consoles but not pcs...
and aside from that, i prefer playing games on console over the pc anyways, as many console lovers do, because it is cheaper and easier to maintain on average. no worries of virus infection, no worries of costantly upgrading hardware to keep up with upcoming games and no money guzzling black hole forms inside the console like it tends to do with pcs which break down a lot compared to most consoles. a lot less headaches and a lot less worries in my opinion for people without the money to throw at expensive pc gaming.
anyways, if this rumor is true it is indeed a dream come true. so i would like to know if this rumor has any validity or not please.
thankyou
