So I graduated as a Chemical Tech and have been working at a lab for 1 week and hate it with a passion (supervisor is trying to fire me / give me a hard time because I used connections to get the job, but she wanted someone with a higher level of education). My friend at the university mentioned that they are still accepting applications to most programs and classes start late this year (the 14th). I was planning to go to university for mechanical engineering next year. I'm taking this as a sign (not that I'm spiritual or anything) that I should go for it now.
Tomorrow I get to quit my job, see about extending my student loan, deal with OSAP, and call the university to see if I can swing by and pickup the acceptance package in person (faster than mailing it). 3 weeks is plenty of time to get everything lined-up.
Anyone else here have a massive last minute change of plans?
