Let's talk Collectibles.

So part of my love for Elder Scrolls game is collecting unique and "rare" items and being able to put them on display in my home. I mainly like collecting unique books (I really wish you could drop the black books -_- ) and unique quest items. Alcohol is another one :P

My Redguard Arch-mage stores Daedric artifacts and the like in Bromjunaar Sanctuary, with Oghma Infinium on the pedestal. I just find it aesthetically pleasing to be able to place things on shelves as souvenirs or reminders of my characters achievements.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this? Haha :P

Artifacts are the only things I collect in Skyrim. This includes the classic artifacts and unique weapons like Chilldrend , ghost axes and nightingale armor.

I get Lakeview Manor and it is littered with mementos of quests and vanquished enemies. Sometimes I enchant a powerful enemies weapon so I can name it after them and keep it on a rack. I also fill a wardrobe with books. One copy of everything. The bookshelves are annoyingly useless as they hold so little and I'm not chasing all over my house looking for a particular volume.

Later on I fill the upstairs glass cabinet with filled grand soul gems and I hoard gems too, some become jewellery, but not all. The whole place becomes an Aladin's Cave of goodies. :)

I kinda have a weird collectible fettish. I built the house in Dawnstar and added the storage room. I have one chest designated for rare artifacts or personal things from another NPC ( example Aren's Amulet), another chest is for every sword in the game, another chest for every bow, and so on and so on. I also built the enchanters tower where I have every scroll stored along with every staff.

I dunno, I'm weird.

Well, I had a male Khajiit in Oblivion who collected a ball of yarn from every place that he had been and he decorated his bunk in the waterfront slums with them. He had quite a collection going for him. It was his fetish.
