This is possibly the strangest issue that I've come across yet in three years of modding Skyrim, and I have no idea where to even start looking for the cause.
On my current playthrough, I've made absolutely no changes to my mods - updates, removals, or additions - and have had a quite acceptably stable run up to this point (no more than 1 random, un-reproducable CTD per few hours of play). I have no idea if the numbers mean anything, but about an hour after I hit my 98th save at ~60 hours in, I had another random CTD in Riften, at which point I restarted Skyrim and tried to load my latest save (an autosave after exiting Black Briar Manor, I believe) which then caused a CTD on load. After trying each save in reverse order, I found that I can load save 98 - or any save preceding it - perfectly fine and continue playing from there, but any save created after that will cause a CTD on load - no matter what variation I take in my course of action (going to Whiterun instead of Riften, for example). The only exception to this that I've found is after I tried loading save 99 (made ~40 min of gameplay later) and CTD'd, I loaded save 98, walked several steps, and immediately made a save (save 100). That save loads fine, but still has a CTD on loading further saves made from it. Starting a new game works as expected, and does not cause a CTD.
To go through the requisite information: I use Mod Organizer, a slightly modified LOOT load order, have a bashed patch, and used TES5Edit to clean my plugins and merge some patches and armor mods.
My computer specs are as such: AMD FX-8320 8-core CPU with 12gb RAM and a GeForce GTX 760 on Win7.

To my memory, I've made no INI tweaks that I didn't revert, and I don't use any ENB past the stock, graphics-less ENBoost.
If someone has any idea what might be happening, it would be much appreciated.
