How do I use the wall shackle furniture marker?

I can't get npcs to be hung in them.

You want permanent prisoners or to send an NPC to jail?

If they're permenant prisoners, just link-ref them to the marker

I linked the npc to the marker.

But they just stand next to the wall shackle... their arms are not in the shackle?

Give them a package with a SitTarget template. That's how the Dawnstar Sanctuary does it.

Type DBTortureVictim into the object window filter for examples.

Ok, it looks like each victim has ownership of their wall shackle.

Also, a shared X marker is an enabled parent to all victims.

Each victim has a package... vic 3 has vic 3 torture package.

I will try to duplicate that.

I think you just need to give the victim a package that uses the SitTarget template and give the shackle they have to use as the package target.

You need a unique package for each of them because each one has to point at a different item. Alternatively you could have one package they all use, take the target from a keyworded linkref and link them all to their intended shackles with that keyword.

I think the xmarker is just so the location management quest can fill the aliases for the victims without having to force the references.
