UNO And Clothing

Post » Sun Aug 30, 2015 2:31 pm

I am running the UNP Base - Skinny body mod with the Sporty Blessed - Athletic muscle map. I am running into a "body discrepancy" between the CoW robes and other armors. The UNP Female Armors mod I use seems to be working fine. But when I don the CoW robes, I get a big butt  [http://i.imgur.com/RMLcuZ7.png]

I'm looking through Nexus Mods and find myself getting confused. I am finding that it is a rarity when a mod author use an actual mod name, but rather some form of abbreviation that confuses the snot out of me. Not surprising as I am easily confused

I did find the http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36780/ mod, but searching further there is another mod that is a "http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37369/?" for "UNPB/UNPB-BBP/UNPB-BBPx/UNPB-TBBP/UNP-BBP." This is where my confusion sets in full force. Which one do I use as they are listed as separate files? What is "TBBP?" "BBPx?" I am thinking that I may be strange in that I am using the "skinny body base" when most others want the "big briasts" versions. Nowhere in the description that I read is any of these abbreviations fully explained

Any ideas to help "un-confuse" me, even a little?

PS: I did find a few others, but they wanted me to add more mods that I do not want, just for some clothing. I do use HDT Physics and a mod or two referenced that, but I am unsure about that, too. They seemed geared more towards briast physics

[EDIT]

Ugh! Title should read UNP, not UNO...

Also, I am not looking for ultra-sixy, but functional clothing :)

The "TBBP" and "BBP" are...well, they allow certain parts of the model to...move, if the HDT Physics Extension mod is installed(and active if MO is used). If the HDT plugin is not installed or inactive, it doesn't cause any issues, save for those aforementioned parts not moving. This might not be entirely correct, but any mod I've used which mentions those seem to be effected by the HDT-PE mod.

If you are using the UNP base mod(or UNP Skinny), then a mod that is for UNPB(or a mesh replacer to be visually compatible with UNPB) is going to cause a discrepancy, which should be obvious.

As for the difference between the models in general, this is because the armor/clothing replacer is for the UNP base mod, not the UNP Skinny version.

Thanks, Maxus. You confirmed my thoughts on the "jigglies" :)

The difference I see is certainly the CoW robes. The fur armor is actually a UNP based female armors mod. This is where my question comes in. The CoW robes are unmodded, straight vanilla robes. I am unsure which version the mod specified I need to get the look I am going for (skinny) :)

If the mesh replacer you are using is the "UNP Female Armors" mod by exeter, then that mod replaces clothing meshes too. Although it might just be the Apprentice and Journeyman meshes, and not the Novice robe.

I'm not sure if there is a mod that fits all the armor and clothing in the game to the UNP Skinny body. Eh, actually there is one - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21776/?. Only it is mostly armors, and not any of the game's clothing.

The fur armor in my screenshot uses the UNP Female Armors mod and looks fine to me. I now have an Apprentice Robe and Vampire armor that both look like the regular CoW robes in the screenshot.

Thanks for that other link, though. I'll keep an eye on it :)
