I had a problem last night where I found I'd edited the wrong file when I made some changes to an esp file. So what I wanted to do was delete the changes I made to that cell in the correct file, then copy the new set up across.
I tried to do this with TESVEdit, but I couldn't find a way that didn't leave the incorrect file as a master to my mod. Eventually I gave up and re-did the changes by hand. There weren't that many of them.
Still, I'd like to know for next time - is there a good way of doing that? I know TESVSnip could do this, but I'm not sure if the corruption problems it used to have were ever really sorted out. And I believe this is possible if you run two instances of the CK, but my computer was struggling with just one last night.
It's pretty much academic now, but does anyone have a good way to handle these problems when they occur?
