Hi all,

I finally (after 9 years of waiting) was able to afford to buy a new computer to play Oblivion, and I had a friend build it for me (on the cheap). That's the background and hopefully not the problem.

The issue is, the first time I tried to launch the game I got a message that said it did not recognize my video hardware. Then when I clicked the PLAY button the program closed with an error message that said it "failed to render" or something like that.

My worry is that the game demands an independant graphics card and I went with an APU. The APU is an AMD A10-7870K 3.9 GHz quad-core.

Any ideas what I can do to resolve this?
