Getting rid of corpses

What is best practice? Is there something like a mod that allows you to mark corpses for burial? Or is "MarkforDelete" safe enough?

I know most corpses eventually despawn, but if memory serve's Lund will never despawn and it appears he doesn't count as an NPC cause prid 000DEBF6 doesn't work. Would be nice to have a free hut to sleep in for a while, and cuddling up with a dead farmer or even putting his corpse over in the corner is not my idea of better homes and decorating.

In general a method to "bury" dead would be neat; I know there is "Bring Out Your Dead" and that sounds very cool, but that is not exactly what I'm talking about. The ability (for example) to lay a dead follower to rest in a dignified and reverent manner would be neat. When Uthgerd died in a recent playthrough, I carried her corpse over under a waterfall and figured I'd leave it there till it despawned. But then when I got to Riften and visited the Hall of the Dead it occurred to me to use prid 00091918 and moveto player to transport her there and "stuff" her into one of the shelves.

ADDIT: the other thing is, "dressing" them in suitable burial attire. I guess that resetinventory will work on a NPC corpse? Or what about equipitem ?

"Clean up your corpses" allows you to bury and burn bodies on a pyre. You can also nail them to walls and impale them

You can get it here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59340/?

I remember after killing those two cultists that come after you as part of the dragonborn dlc, well they came after me in Whiterun and afterwards they were just lying there in the town for a long time.

So I dragged them up on the roof of that building (the one across from warmaidens),
so they wouldn't be laying in the middle of town. Periodically I checked to see if they were still laying there on the roof. They never disappeared.
Weeks in the game went by. Months, etc. Still there. I don't know if it was a glitch or what. That was way back when I was still playing on the 360. I have played on pc since then.

I think you have to avoid Whiterun for 30 in game days for the bodies to disappear. Which is impossible with Whiterun, since it's a central hub.

In whiterun (usually after a vampire attack) I toss them off the bridge just inside the gate on the guard barracks side. that way, I don't ever see them again. Other palces, I drop them under trees or in Riften, I toss them over the rail into the water below.

Sweet mother of heaven! Now I can rid myself of all those unsightly corpses! :icecream:

ADDIT: Oh yes, the silence of the lambs, I can hear them now . . . can you hear them? Tidy and clean.
