So I uninstalled the CK while steam was offline, because I wanted to get its files out of the way before I used revanilla to delete any remaining mod files I had left. Well, no need to now because after uninstalling it, it also deleted the Skyrim folder, which took care of the mods, but also the base game installation, so now I'll need to reinstall. I thought this problem was fixed a while back? Or is this an issue on steam's part?

Well, Steam could do a better job on this.

To properly uninstall the ck, you must go into Steam/Tools, Creation Kit, right click and then properties. Once the window has opened, go to the tab "local files" and delete. Doing it this way preserves the Skyrim directory.
