Tail texture swap.

I'm an idiot. I haven't used a construction set since Oblivion, and even then I generally broke stuff just while looking around somehow.

Thus, I'm trying to avoid this this time, so I ask for halp. Partly because I can't navigate wiki sites to save myself, and this is pretty simple. I think.

I want to swap the textures for the male Khajiit tail to the female.

Tail's got a weird twisty bug going on and since the underside of the female tail is white, it's driving me nuts(http://i.imgur.com/CSQenel.png)

My solution is to use the male Khajiit tail texture instead. I *assume* this should not be a problem, unless the actual meshes are different, or the texture isn't separate or something.

Any ideas on how to do this? Or even where to find out how to do this myself so I can stop asking stupid questions?

Thanks. :3

Isn't there a fix for the tail twist that substitutes another animation without it? Since it affects Khajiit and Argonian tails alike, it may be marked as fixing Argonian tails, but would work for both.

There is, but as far as I know it only works for male Argonians and *possibly* male Khajiit(assuming they use the same skeleton/rigging)

I'm meaning to test that here today.

It *doesn't* fix female Khajiit, and I'm unsure about female Argonian, which I'll also test.

I'm CK stupid, and I wouldn't know how to fix it myself, and if they don't use the same exact skeleton and rigging for both genders(just split into two copies, one for each gender, which most games don't do because women that move like men and vice versa is dumb) applying any existing change to the female beast skeleton could cause issues.

Thus, until someone that knows what they're doing fixes it(or I get proper instruction this time, god knows I broke my computer last time I tried 3D modeling), my solution is edit the texture so its using the male tail texture(without the white underside) or recolor the female to not have it.
