I have followed the short questline "Falion's Secret" and have decided to tell the Jarl what Falion was up to.

The problem is she just follows him around constantly rather than saying the dialogue that she appantly should according to UESP:-

Is there any way of forcing this dialogue to happen or is this only fixed in the unofficial patch?

Is the unofficial patch the only way to fix this though? I mean is it basically completely broken in the vanilla game with the latest official patch?
