Hello everyone! Not sure if this is the proper place to post my problem, i extracted files in a folder i made in steam/steamapps/common but it shows that i have TES5edit without the 'exe' in the end so how can i find this or fix this? , i tried with both the experimental file and the main file from nexus . I am running NMM btw :( Thanks!

This is how it's shown in my folder together with the rest like in your screenshot. : ) . only when i click to check its properties it is shown as an exe application tho...so is it normal? Because from youtube videos i saw it seemed like its a problem when the exe in the end is not shown? : /

What operating system do u use ???

If u use Windows 7:

  • Open Windows Explorer and click the Organize button towards the top left. Choose Folder and search options from the menu.
  • Click the View tab in the window that opens, then scroll down and untick the box next to "Hide file extensions for known file types"

If u use Windows 8:

  • Simply open a File Explorer window (the new name for Windows Explorer) and click the View tab.
  • Now tick or untick the box next to File name extensions. If the box is ticked, extensions will be shown. If unticked, they won’t.

I am not sure, if that's what you asked for.

However, with or without extension, the executable file should work. !!!

Double click it. That Tes5Edit IS the executable. As stated above ,the file extensions are hidden by default.
