Most anticlimactic fight you've had (insert MQ joke here)

Yeah, I was surprised when that happened, too.

I think it makes sense, though. You've just wiped out her whole posse and looted her dungeon. It wouldn't take all that much to convince her not to fight with you, if she has any brains at all.

That happened to me once. I reloaded and fought her

Why reload then? Just murder her after she gives you the books.

(I'm joking, if it isn't obvious. :) )

I needed the pre-fight banter to get in the mood :P

Any boss that isn't the Ebony Warrior. But Alduin is the worse. He was a lot of hype for the easiest boss battle ever. The only time he gave him was during my first playthrough as a mage and that was because he didn't put points into health at all and I would get hit by a random meteor. Harkon was a let down to because Serena can pretty much beat him by herself. Mercer Frey I just used Unrelenting Force and that killed him.

Anticlimactic ? Alduin...

Really.. Just no...Why did I need three people with me? I could have done that one alone..

Reminds me of Morrowind and the Dagoth Ur fight..

Such a big buildup for such a big letdown.

Dagoth Ur was tougher than Alduin at least for me as he pummeled my stats hard. Alduin according to lore had many dragons supporting him but he has no help in sovengarde. And they give you 3 helpers for little reason.

For me it was the first time I destroyed the Dark Brotherhood. I was level 30, with only moderate enchanted gear. Went in expecting a tough running fight. They all went down with little effort. Hmph.

Did you sneak? I had the same experience, but I sneaked in and got kill cams on them all. I have a feeling (but could be wrong) that a full-on frontal assault may have been tougher :)

No. I made a full on frontal assault. They didn't really support each other, each stayed in their own area and let me come to them. I was kind of disappointed.

That's the trouble with assassins, they're not fighters, and they're not really much good at teamwork, even ones that are part of a 'family'.
