What, in Skyrim, have you seen? Whether it be a squirrel flying or someone drinking bread, what is something that youve seen thats really stuck in your head? For me, I remember seeing two dragons fighting 3 giants (which is unusual because dragons usually dont appear in one spot) and I thought it was the coolest thing for some reason XD.

One thing that always sticks out in my head was a long time ago, I was at Eldersblood Peak. I was fighting the dragon there, fairly certain it was an Elder dragon. Now, the layout of the area has basically the ground, and three tiers above it. The Word Wall is on the highest tier. I was on the ground, at the base of the lowest staircase, the dragon is circling around. I'm shooting the crap out of it with arrows, ducking behind the ruined pillars trying not to get fried. Eventually I move up to the first tier of the ruin. There are two more sets of stairs before the Wall. I finally manage to hit that magic halfway point on the dragon's health bar while it's perched on a pillar, and it takes off and starts wobbling in the air.

Now this is the first time I was ever up at that location. I knew the dragon was going to have a crash landing, but I wasn't sure where exactly. Turns out, it basically nose-dives into the first tier (which I'm standing on) and skids up the other two steps before stopping right in front of the Wall. I barely get out of the way in time and look up to see where it stops. As it happens, there was apparently a frost troll pacing around the area immediately in front of the Wall. I watch the dragon skid up to the highest tier, at which point it disappears from view over the hill (the cloud of dust it left didn't help). A split second later, I see the frost troll spiral up through the air as the dragon evidently plowed into it. It was so damn comical I had to pause so the dragon wouldn't get up and kill me while I was laughing.

The best I can recall in over a year of playing on PC is when a high leveled dragon attacks almost simultaneously with a random call from the vampire hit squad right next to a bandit's camp.. quite entertaining! and some nice loot to be found from the remains.. I only wish the engine would do this a bit more often in my patched up USKP vanilla edition. :)

Killing a bear with an Ice Storm, then seeing it get horribly stretched as the vortex carries it away. Something about the limbs and head flailing around and the model generally looking like taffy made quite an impression on me.

There's too many, so I'll just list the ones I remember the most.

Spoiler

Seeing/entering the College of Winterhold and thinking how in Oblivion it hasn't fallen into the sea. Also the part where Ancano messes with the eye.

The first time you see Gelebor. Didn't see that coming.

Seeing the Forgotten Vale. The music really sets the tone of the tragic fate of the Snow Elves. Never gets old.

The battle with the twin dragons on the frozen lake at the Forgotten Vale.

The battle/mini cut scene with Vyrthur.

Being hurt by the darkness during the Black Book - The Sallow Regent. Also having Mora's creepy eye pop out and watch you from the pools  ech.

Being attacked and killed by the cabbage cart in Riverwood.

Being bashed to death by a hanging pot in the Pelagius Wing of the Blue Palace.

While I appreciated all of yours, these last 2 I can identify with  I's also like to add all of the storefront signs I have knocked to the ground with my head

Spoiler
The scene that left the biggest impression for me was also in the Danwguard DLC: Forgotten Vale when Serana lifts Arch-Curate Vyrthur off of the ground. I remember thinking, "Holy crap! I best not piss off Serana!"

[EDIT]

Thought I'd best use spoiler tags since this is in the "normal discussion" area :)

I had one last night. My spellsword Dyoranya fought the dragon at Skyborn Altar.

She had sneaked down from above, and was on the narrow structures above the word wall, when the dragon attacked. We had an extended battle up there, with the dragon circling and hovering, and Dyoranya dangerously exposed. Eventually one of Dyoranya's fireballs brought the beast down.

He fell, crashed into the ground in front of the word wall, and skidded off the edge of the cliff. Dyoranya scrambled down to the ledge, and found him, struggling at the edge of the cliff, trying to keep from falling. It was an odd moment. Here was an enormous beast that had moments before been blasting Dyoranya with fire, and now he was wounded, hovering between life and death, and unable to fight back any longer. For a moment, I wanted nothing more than to try to help the poor thing.

Then Dyoranya finished him off with a lightning bolt, and he fell.

I had just left the bandit hold, I think it's "Robber's Gorge" going toward Solitude from Rorikstead. There is a low hill that you come around, and as I rounded the bend I saw a dragon on the ground. As I watched, a giant jumped up on the dragon's back, and, in a huge cloud of dust, the dragon took to the air... with the giant still riding it like a surfboard. The dragon achieved quite a bit of altitude quickly (complete with giant) but then the giant finally fell off. Unfortunately, he did not survive the fall, and the dragon then flew away without starting combat with me. I have really wished I'd had FRAPs running at the time...

Yes, these have happened to me to. The hanging pot incident in Pelagius Wing was just this week. You suppose that particular pot is cursed or something?

Quite many funny things have happened to me in Skyrim, especially when running couple of mods that add NPC and enemy patrols. One of the longest and in a way most epic fights I've had was somewhere in Riften forests. I got first attacked by a group of vampires, which was led by quite nasty Master Vampire. Just when I got rid of them I was attacked by two Elder Dragons, thanks to some mod, I played on Master, but I needed to tune down to adept to survive it. Once I had slayed the second Dragon a bear attacks me from the bushes. I didn't have time to heal myself but thought I could handle one bear. Well, just when I was landing a killing blow on the bear, my character falls dead. There was a Frostbite spider behind him.

Forgotten Vale offered some great wow-moments, like the two Dragons and the collapse / explosion of the temple. Then there are those moments like Odahviing fighting two Dragons in a thunderstorm. I wish I can recreate that some day and take some pretty pictures.

My most amazing scenes usually involve random dragon attacks who then proceed to attack something besides me. Twice I've had one completely clear out a bandit camp for me while I sat and watched. I chased another one all over the Whiterun tundra as it ignored me and methodically attacked every wildlife spawn point.

There was also the first time I went after the Jagged Crown. I was with the Imperials. I ran up to the draugr lord who had the crown and woke him up with a battleaxe bash. As he slowly rose and slowly pulled out his weapon, from all sides there were imperial swords stabbing in. It was actually comical, all these swords coming in from the sides of my first-person view. Then the old draugr finally got his sword out and reared back to shout. Which I interrupted with another bash to the face. Then he said, "Krosis!" Then I killed him. Kind of sad, really. But an awesome scene, one of the few specific combats that sticks in my memory.

One other scene that amazed me, in a "the AI is smart for a change" kind of way. I was running with Brelyna and had given her a number of staffs to play with, including one that did Wall of Flame. She'd never really used it until we were going through a dragon priest lair. She suddenly started spraying it all over the floor around a crypt. She sprayed it right where I'd been planning to go, so I was a bit annoyed. Until the crypt opened and a draugr got out. And promptly died in the flame trap that Brelyna had set. I don't know how she knew that one crypt was going to open up, but I didn't doubt her judgement anymore after that.

The battle for whiterun was [censored] epic!!! Watching The catapults flinging the flaming pitch or rocks is [censored] epic as hell I want to try summoning durnaviir (spelling) while the battle is going on to have a dragon fighting for us aswell and he summons his own follwers too so that would be cool. also the first time I set foot in blackreach.. I know I mention it a lot but I feel like blackreach doesn't get enough recognition its so beautifull.

Summoning Durnehviir is so definitely worth it at the Battle of Whiterun. Hell, even calling Odahviing down is awesome. But definitely give Durnehviir a shot, those Soul Cairn skeletons he summons make it that much more entertaining.

My favorite are the dragons for sure. Whether attacking a town, landing on buildings, or when they leave a long gouge in the earth from crashing. Too bad most my playtime is spent without dragons. :-(
