thanks for any help anyone can give.

i was one of the unfortunate ones that had the thieves guild glitch a while ago, so i stopped playing for a couple of years. when i did all the current updates, it said that one of the quests was completed and i could finish the main quest. now i've downloaded dragonborn and i'm trying to get the deathbrand armor from the questlines of the blacksmith in raven rock. i completed the pickaxe quest, and now i'm trying to complete the "paid in full" quest.

but he won't start it and i'm reading online that i have to be a member of the thieves guild to start it. so let the fun begin again.

in riften no one in the ragged flaggon or bjoryn (*sp) will say anything meaningful to me. i still have the quest "no stone unturned" which brings back nightmares to even look at from the first glitch. the only objective under that quest is "become a full member of the thieves guild. i've tried everything else i can think of, and read a ton of forums which all seem to point to the old version glitch.

i will not restart, i'm on level 63. and i can't reload from an old save, i'm way way to far ahead for that.

again, any help to point me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated, and i can let you know what the npc's are saying to me if you would like. thanks!
