have downloaded the nexus mod manager and put the unzipped file into the appropriate nexus folder,and activated it from the nexus mod (it unzipped the file and installed it.says the file is activated)

however when i run skyrim there is no sign of the castle near whiterun.

have not yet tried any mods (apart from better vampire mod,but couldn't get that too work until now/using nmm).

edit forgot to add that i have all dlc content needed to run it (have legendary edition skyrim)

I'M A HUGE IDIOT.the mod is working,i just hadn't actually checked the place where the castle is (was looking on the map for signs of it).
