XP32 Maximum Skeleton isn't really working for me

Post » Tue Sep 22, 2015 3:45 pm

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26800/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D26800%26preview%3D&pUp=1 I got this mod mainly just so I could wield two swords on my back kind of like this http://static-3.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/thumbnails/26800-1-1354280054.jpg and for some reason when I'm in my game I equip both of my swords and and there's only one on my back while the other one is missing. It's the same for whenever I try and wield a dagger on my hip and have another weapon it's just not there. I'm not quite sure what's going on here....

Please help me if you can this is kinda annoying :\

You need either http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34155/?, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40953/?, or http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49784/? to get that effect. The latter two still require the Meshes from DSR but add extra features. I personally use and enjoy AGU for it's extra features.

XP32 is deprecated. Try XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended 2.06.

I'm not sure if the author of XP32 gave permission for that mod, nor would I trust it. I'm very weary of things that come from that sight.

Most things from that site are perfectly safe. If they're tasteful however, that's another matter entirely...

@Snarfies

Don't link that site here.

Please use your eyes before writing bad advice for the OP or readers. XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended 2.06 is available for download on that nexus link as of yesterday.

Ok, so I wasnt aware of the update, forgive me for using and recommending caution. It seems that the 2.06 is really only useful for more..... advlt themed extensions of the original mod and tweaks certain aspects of the skeleton to better work with those extensions. If your not using any of those kinds of extensions I would just stick with 1.93a.

Alright, I went ahead and tried AGU. I wielded two swords and just like last time only one shows up on my back. I'm so confused >_<

Edit: I went ahead and tried the equipping overhaul and there's only the one sword on my back and the other one is not there. I tried equipping an axe and a sword, the sword was on my back but the axe wasn't by the hip. I honestly have no idea what is going on. It seems that the right hand weapons work but the left handed ones aren't there at all until I draw it.

Try the extended one linked over on Lover's Lab: it has a fomod installer and will do the dual-sheaths on the back properly. The extended version is a fixed version of XP32's original skeleton with some extra features.

I know the skeleton allows you to have both on the back, but I think you need another mod to put both of them there. I'd have to check on that though.

Have you tried dual sheath redux? If not, that should give you the option you're looking for. Note that it needs Fores New Idles in Skyrim (FNIS) to work properly.

Are you using the meshes from DSR? Also how are you installing your mods?

The game doesn't come with left handed weapon sheathe meshes, which is why you're not seeing them, CornFox. Did you do as Charon asked? If you didn't install those new meshes, you'll get the vanilla behavior.

Did you remember to run the reproccer?

Edit: Woops, thought you were already using DSR (which if you want to have two one-handed swords on your back, you'll have to use).
