Thanks haha. I was 29, but went back to 28 when I switched out my upgraded gear for the Raid gear I got. I hit 29 again now. I need the Raid helmet so I can hit 30.

I'm just doing bounties now.

You can substitute it for an exotic helm. You'll need the raid chest to get to 30 though.

True. Right now I have a fully upgraded Exotic chest piece. If I can get the Raid chest piece maybe I'll just switch them out.

I swore off the VoG, but yesterday, three people I usually play with started spamming my message box with "Please!" and "I'm crying. Make it stop!" (my favorite). I reluctantly give in and we do the raid. One player knew precisely how to cheese the first boss (and one of these days, I'll remember its name) and that's precisely what he did. I have to say, I was impressed. He had the thing off the cliff in about 5 minutes, doing it solo.

For the most part, all I got was pvssyrwhite, and ascendant shards/energy. But when he knocked the boss off, I ended up with two pieces of armor. The earphones exploded with curse words, people calling me the luckiest [censored] as most only have one for doing multiple raids. One in my party said, "I've been playing with this [censored] for about a month and he is the luckiest player I've ever met."

Oh, and it gets better. Once Atheon was taken down, I ended up with three weapons, though I do not know the names. No VM, though I'm sure if that had been one I got, I'd be playing Destiny alone forever.

One weapon was a fusion rifle, so I broke it down. I don't do fusion rifles. I can't stand those charge times. The other was a pulse rifle, and the third was an auto rifle. I put those two in my vault, and I will most likely never touch them again.

Having enough Vanguard credits, I purchased The Comedian. Not sure how I feel about the shotgun. On the one hand, man, the damage is incredible. Those Hive under the shack on Earth go down in 2-3 hits. On the other, one has to be ready to kiss the enemy since the thing has no range at all. I suppose this would be good for Vanguard/bounties, but no way will this be useful in Nightfall until I practice with it. It'll take quite a bit of dancing, especially if Lightswitch is active.

I also played a round of the Iron Banner. I scored so low, I was the only one, out of 12, to walk away with less than 1000 points. I believe it was 648. I svck at PvP so I think I'll just stick with PvE, where I may not get high kill counts, but I can easily take down the big boys. Doing Nightfall yesterday and my friend said, "And this is why we take you with us."

Now, I've new armor to upgrade. I just finished up the wolf one, which ticks me off a bit since the only reason I bought this thing was the extra ammo modifier on it. The new armor I have has the same thing and gives additional bonus to grenade.

Well, it's not like I didn't have the shards to spare. Even after upgrading it, I still have over 100.

I'm hoping we do the Weekly Heroic tomorrow. I dunno why, but I just love the Sepkis strike.
