i just recently bought a wii u (windwaker hd premium pack) and love the console.

one of my other games is the aforementioned mk8.

it's bloody great, but i am hopeless playing the game tbh.

especially online,i just end up at the back by the end.

i try and drift e.t.c but always get clobbered by power ups and end up near the back.

any advice as to how to improve.

i also have super mario 3d world and trine 2 director's cut (both great games also)

Practice, and then more practice.
The people in 1st place have probably logged over 100 hours learning each track.

Get good at 150cc against the AI before expecting to succeed online.
