I've seen quite a bit of "copper based" health products advertised in the past few years. Copper bracelets, copper lined garments to help with backs, knees, elbows, and all else for the body.
This reminds me of the feng shui view of the world in that everything we do has "consequences." What are people's thoughts on our interaction with the world around us?
On one hand, I think it is interesting how we humans interact with the world around us and wonder about the "mysticism" about that interaction. Does the Earth's magnetic field effect us in ways we can not explain? Is there a karmic presence we are oblivious to?
I realize this is kind of all over the place, but there are so many thoughts and theories about how we interact with our world and the effects of these interactions that it is hard to pin it down to just a few possibilities
Is it all just psychological? Our minds are powerful, untapped, barely known entities. Minds can make us sick or well. Minds can overcome things we thought never could be overcome. If we believe that setting our beds a certain direction makes it so, does that make it real? Or is there more to it than that? Some people have "miraculously" overcome cancer. Some think it could be mind over matter. Is this viable?
Just some musings brought on by advertising from an admittedly warped mind What are your thoughts, or have you even thought about this kind of stuff?
