Do the sounds made by creatures (the scream of a skeleton, the hmmmmm! of a giant, the giggle of a nymph, "Vengeance!") exist outside of the game? I'm planning on changing the ring tone, alert for SMS, etc, on my phone and I'm thinking of going for an Elder Scrolls flavour for everything.

Unfortunately, I no longer own a copy of Daggerfall and it would be a bit of overkill for me to hunt up a copy just for the sounds .

Especially since money's very tight at the moment.

So I was hoping that, somewhere on the Internet, individual sound files from Daggerfall exist.

Could probably grab a demo, and use DFJukeBox, I believe you can save sounds from that. Dunno if its compatible though, should be though.

yes that technique works, i believe someone has gotton the sound files from the demo like that before.

yeah, back then they just bought the sounds from sound companies, you'll often hear them in old (and sometimes even new) movies. Its funny cause you can then tell what is real and what is sound effects.

Door opening effect and horse sounds are quite popular.

I did a bit of searching and I found a sound file for each monster over at at the UESPWiki (on the Daggerfall: Monsters page).
