That moment in a game plot that "killed the mood".

So, last month I realized that I never played a female elf in Dragon Age Inquisition, so I started playing a mage and every time I could choose about being a... "nationalist Dalish" I would pick up this option. Now the "plot" that completely killed my gameplay with this character.

Spoiler
So, I started a romance with Solas, everything was going up fine until he tells me that the painting the Dalish uses are actually a symbol to mark slaves. Each style of painting represented a god, but the god of the owner of these Slaves. It just said: Hey, Ancient Elves were bas as Tevinter! Now, I am not a lore expert when it comes to Dragon Age, so I don't know if it was mentioned before, but, well, it just made all my way defending, being proud of being a Dalish Elf meaningless. If they were wrong about this, they probably were wrong about a lot of other things as well

So, this moment destroyed my character's personality, hope I stll can turn to be an Andrastian until the game ends :P

Yeah, when I first played Skyrim I decided to go against my dunmer-loving instincts, and I went for a nord. I imagined a warrior of justice, a cold blooded barbarian, lonely crossing snowy planes with nothing but fur on his shoulders and claymore in his hands. *heroic gaze, heroic cape dancing in the wind* Bam, racism parties everywhere, nords tossing garbage at elves, making fun of their ears, hating on their magic, making them live in the slums, climbing up their windows, snatching their people up, dunmer are hiding their kids, their wives....
