Hi i need help finding the girl that one guy wants me to do. He says shes on the ridge and trapped by geckos.
So i go past the broken radio tower and up to the right but i cant seem to find her just a load of geckos attacking me.
Anyone knows where shes at?

Keep going up past all the geckos and you'll find a spot with a chair and a chest. He lied about the girl so that you'd clear the way for him to it. Just get there and he'll come running over.

Its a trick he ends up trying to kill u for the loot thats at the top of the trail. its just north of the trailer thats in the mt. west of where u run into him.. then the loot is north of wear he comes out of now where to kill u.

Another Wild Wasteland event, though the "pop culture" reference for this one went over my head...

I found it and he came running....right into one of the bear traps and died. It was quite funny.

Which is funny, because I actually jumped off the ledge after not finding the girl, went about my business for an in game day, and the guy finally caught up to me to tell me there wasn't a girl. "You think?"

I don't have Wild Wasteland on, but I came across this guy near a campfire. I thought it was a quest, so I started following my compass...only to realize a few minutes later that it was not.

It was dark.

And I was lost.

Badly.

Never found him again.


At the time I actually told my wife that it was probably a trap...she asked why I was going...I told her I wanted to experience it!

Not really...I encountered it and I don't have the Wild Wasteland Perk.

The Wild Wasteland part seems to be what is found at the end of the trail. I found a chair and 3-4 red balls.

I couldn't find the chest?

yeah i didnt get it either, the loot wasnt that good

The event is the same but there's some added decorations when Wild Wasteland is on.
