Disabling a creatures world collision?

Is it possible to edit a creature model like the ancestor ghost so that it doesn't collide with the environment but can still be hit by combat? I was thinking of changing the ancestor ghost's type to a flying unit and then letting it pass through doors, walls, and obstacles like an actual ghost.

I'm not sure what would be needed to achieve this but at the moment I am just curious if it is even possible for Morrowind currently.

What are your thoughts?
