Whenever I open FalloutNVLauncher.exe (From the Steam folder, Steam itself or the shortcut) and click 'Play', the bow simply closes and the game never boots, nothing is ever in Task Manager either. I tried to boot directly into the game with FalloutNV.exe, but I just getting a dialogue box that reads "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application." I have search everywhere I possibly could on the internet, I have tried validating my game cache (Even though I just bought and installed the game, so nothing would be edited), but it failed; I tried to re-install V++ and DirectX with the redist folder, but nothing changed. I even installed Games for Windows Live, because some people said that may have been the problem, but when I try to sign in it pops up a box that says "Click here to resolve" (The page no longer exists) and gives me an error code '80154002'. I read that NVSE bypasses G4WL so I decided to install that, and the nvse_loader.exe gives me the same 0xc000007b error as before. Other than that I don't know what to do, I've tried to re-install NV twice now, and it had no effect.

I'm sure my drivers are up-to-date because I got this comp about a month ago (mostly for the purpose of playing FO3, FONV and FO4, since I'm a huge really devoted fan). My comp specs are listed below:

AMD A10-7800 Radeon R7, 12 Compute Cores 4C+8G (3.50 GHz)

16 Gigs RAM (15 usable)

64-bit Windows 7 OS

First thing I'd try is this.

1. Go to the Windows Control Panel, click Programs and look for Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) and/or Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) in the installed programs list. Uninstall these and then reboot your computer. (Note - they may show up with version numbers in this list; uninstall only the 2008 (x86) versions of the C++ redistributables. Do not uninstall the (x64) ones).

2. Go to the following links to download the Visual C++ installer packages from Microsoft -

Install these, restart the computer if prompted to do so, and then try to launch the game.

As Jasper said, Games for Windows Live is not needed for Fallout:New Vegas. You will, however, need the updated http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/pc/downloadclient if you are going to install and run Fallout 3.

I have two things named exactly "Mincrosoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86" and 2 with x64, there are also other versions than 2008, should I delete the ones I indicated?

Only delete the 2008 (x86) ones - those are for 32-bit applications such as New Vegas, and those are the ones you're going to replace with the Microsoft packages. The (x64) ones are for 64-bit applications. Also, the redistributables are not cumulative (2008 does not contain 2005 as an example). The other versions are needed for other applications on your computer.

I did all of this and nothing has changed, same exact error.

Crap.

Have you tried completely reinstalling the game? Right-click on New Vegas in your Steam library, select Delete Local Content ... , then follow the prompts. After that, go to your My Documents\My Games folder and delete the FalloutNV folder inside (I'm assuming you have never been able to start the game and therefore have no save files). Shut down and restart Steam, and you should be able to click on New Vegas in your library (it'll be grayed out) and get an option to reinstall the game.
