I named mine Kratos which means Strength in Greece.

In a similar way as Talos means a giant man of bronze who was a protector of Europa in Greece names.

Usually what I have to do when joining an MMO late and all the names I want are taken. Since Nord is the default race, I've had a bunch of test characters called F... de Fault. I.e. Fred, Frank, Phil (OK, I cheated a bit there).

And yes, I know de Fault is more Breton than Nord, but so what? All their sisters have been Bretons.

I named my latest Nord "Ysmir Stone-Fist".... Ysmir meaning "Dragon of the North" according to Arngier of the GreyBeards.

Though not exactly Nordic, Anglo-Saxon provides some interesting options:

Aethelwyn = Noble Joy

Stansige = Stone Victory

Cynesweord = People Sword
