Okay i know this is gonna be a tall order:

Background: Hello I am a guy who wants to learn how to mod Skyrim entirely not just sticking to the creation kit alone. For this reason the first thing I want to create is a custom race so i can make a awesome character to test all my creations out on. I have a idea of want I want to create but I require aid on how to go about it. I have tried looking up other tutorials but haven't had to much luck. I think i'm looking at bits and pieces and am failing at connecting the dots here. The Programs i got to use are Blender, Nif scope, and Paint.net.

What I need: A guide on how to create a new race in Skyrim meshes and all from the ground up.

Warning: All guides I've found assume i have created the meshes and textures for them already which i haven't. All I got is an idea with a lot of free time.
